Advanced Basic Skating 

 

Skill Level: Intermediate Class length: 1 hour Prerequisite: Level 3 of the Basic Skating Skills program or approval of the head instructor. Cost: $197

This is a Program for our Skaters that have completed Level 3 in the Basic Skating Program. This program will focus on edge development, transition turns, higher skating skills with speed and proficiency (no jumping or spinning required). Our belief is to continue the desire to learn more and enjoy the progressions of each skating skill being taught. Students   must have passed Level 3 of Basic Skating to advance to this class. 

 

Each student will receive a progress report card in December and a year-end report card in March.

All students must have already passed level 3 of the Basic Skating Skills Program before entering the Advanced Basic Skating Program, or, have obtained prior approval of the Head Skating Instructor.

 

Class Schedule 10 weeks (JANUARY - MARCH 2024)

Saturday: 11:30am to 12:30pm 

Ages: 5 years old & up

Location: Callingwood Vern Davis Rink (Arena A)

Start & End Date: January 6 to March 16
